You will need 3 polystyrene balls - 2 very small ones and then one a little bit bigger.

Use a small piece of thin wire or a paperclip to make a loop in the larger one of the polistyrene balls. Paint it black with craft paint.

Use a hot glue gun to paste the ears to the head of Minnie Mouse.

Paste the ribbon and crystal to the head of Minnie Mouse.

Here is a few pointers on how to do the correct make up (face paint) for a Minnie Mouse character.

It's time for a Minnie Mouse party and now for the costume..... Think Bows Bows Bows because what is a day without a pretty bow on top of it!

You will need an headband, some black felt and red polka dot ribbon - and don't forget the scissors and the glue gun!

Follow the tutorial and cut our the ears and headband piece. 

You need to cut our small foam circles to put inside the ears.

Glue everything onto the headband

Add the bright red polkadot bow! Make sure you go to Wikihow and follow the instructions in detail.

It is time for all the ladybugs to get together and have the best party eva! In this blog I just want to show you a few ideas on food for the ladybug party! Just go onto pinterest and get lots more ideas of how to make ladybug party food.

The best and easy one that I've discovered was the following:

Ingredients

• 2 OREO Cookies
• 4 tsp. red-tinted vanilla frosting
• 2 tsp. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2 Mini OREO Bite Size Cookies
• 4 pieces black string licorice (1 inch)

Instructions

• SPLIT  large OREO Cookies, leaving filling on 1 side of each cookie. Cut sides with filling in half to make "ladybug's wings." Spread plain side of each wing with frosting. Press chocolate chips into red frosting for "spots."
• SECURE  wings, red frosting sides up and rounded edges out, to tops of remaining plain cookie halves with additional frosting, separating wings slightly.
• ATTACH  Mini OREO Cookies to the bases of the wings with additional frosting for the "heads," standing each Mini OREO on its side. Secure licorice pieces to the heads with additional frosting for the "antennae.

LADYBUG GARDEN ROCKS

Get the little bugs to choose a rock they want to paint. It is best to use red spray paint for the bugs. If you want to make the process quicker you can spray paint the rocks before the party then you know the paint will be dry.

Use a black and white sharpie pen (permanent marker) to draw the line and dots on the ladybug.

No Sew Ladybug costume

We are calling all little bugs to come out of the woods and gather around the greatest Ladybug party eva!

"O Dear... My closest have pink and no polka dots inside! What to do you ask? It's simple... ask mommy to follow these quick steps and voila... a pretty red polka dot cape I have!"

I've stumbled across this awesome and easy NO SEW Ladybug costume on the internet.

 Here are a few pointers on how easy it is to make the no sew ladybug cape! 

What you'll need

• 1 piece of red felt, measuring 18-inches by 18-inches
• 2 sheets of black craft felt
• 2 red or black pipe cleaners
• 1 piece of red or black ribbon, measuring 54-inches by 3/4-inch
• hot glue gun (adults only)
• chalk
• 1 roll red or black duct tape
• scissors
• black t-shirt
• black pants
• 2 red or black pom-poms (optional)
• 1 headband (optional)

Cut out the cape from the material. Glue the top of the cape onto ribbons. Glue the dots or hearts onto the cape. Make the little antlers and viola... you've got a cape for your little bug!

We are calling all little bugs to come out of the woods and gather around the greatest Ladybug party eva!

When you start planning a ladybug party remember that the main colours must be Red, Black and a little bit of White. The most important thing to remember is dots, dots, dots.

Try and get a plain black or red tablecloth and then a polkadot red or black overlay to start of with. It depends on your budget but it always works to have a bunting over the main table where all the food is. You can either make the bunting from fabric or buy a paper bunting.
