Fake snow has many uses from decorations indoors through to making a movie in a snow setting. The fake snow in this article is realistic but won't melt and doesn't contain any strange chemicals. It's based on soap, making it cheap and easy to create.

Frozen Birthday craft - Make your own snowflakes!

Glitter popsicle stick snowflakes

What will I need to make my own snowflakes? 

• 3 popsicle sticks
• craft glue
• paint brush
• glitter
• sequins and gems

What you'll do:

1. Use your paint brush to coat the popsicle sticks in glue.
2. Sprinkle the glitter over the popsicle sticks and allow them to dry.
3. Once they are dry, layer the popsicle sticks on top of each other to form the snowflake, and glue them in place.
4. Decorate the snowflake with sequins and gems.

Frozen - how to make a No Sew Cape for Elsa

If you have a little girl - I'm sure she is smitten with the lovely character in Frozen - Elsa.  I mean . . . she has powers to create sparkly snowflakes, she never feels cold, and she has a super pretty flowy cape. 

Now you can make such a wonderful cape for your little Elsa....No need for a sewing machine for this project.  Just you and your little one having fun and making something they can be proud of! 

Cami from Tidbits whipped up this awesome DIY Frozen princess costume for Make It and Love It. Best of all, it’s a no sew costume, y’all! In the Make it and love it blog they show you step by step on how to cut out a pattern that will fit your little daughter.

Because you will use a chiffon or organza material it will be easy to use a candle to work of the seams of the cape.

Use a glue gun to paste the velcro onto the cape.

Now your little one can use snowflake stencils and glitter paint to paint snowflakes onto the cape.

Spider Lollipop Tutorial

No Spiderman party can go ahead without real spiders crawling all over the place. This tutorial will show you how to make scary lollipop spiders for the little superhero's to catch and eat.

You will need the following:

3 black pipe cleaners (from any craft store)
1 Lollipop - prefably red
1 set of googly eyes
glue

The first thing you do is take three pipe cleaners and find the middle of them. The middle of the pipe cleaners will be set at the base of the lollipop. Then, wrap the pipe cleaners around the stick two or three times. The picture above shows you what it should look like at this point.

Next, you will want to bend the pipe cleaners to create the “knees” and then the little feet. It should just stand up on its pipe cleaner legs at this point. If not, you can just adjust them slightly until they do stand up.

The final step is to hot glue the eyes onto the thick part of the pipe cleaners.

Spiderman Facepaint tutorial

Do you want to look like spiderman... Follow these easy instructions and transform yourself into the Sensational Spider Man!

You can easily transform your face with face paint to look like this famous comic character. It is easy to look like Spider-Man with a few easy steps. Be sure you ask an adult to help you.

What you need:

• Sponge
• Paint brushes
• Mirror
• Water
• Face paint
• 
  

Instructions:

1. Wet the sponge and start spreading the red color on the face and neck.
2. Rinse the sponge and continue with the white above the eyes.
3. Using the brush, draw black details on the face to look like a spider web. 
4. Outline the eyes with a brush.
5. Finish by applying black makeup on the lips.

Spider man Costume - NO SEW DIY

Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, the Amazing Spider-Man, the Sensational Spider-Man, the Spectacular Spider-Man All describe the wonderful amazing Spiderman!

But oooohhhhh dear... what will a Sensational Spiderman do without a spiderman outfit. Many mother wish that they can make their own Superhero outfits but they don't know how to sew.

This blog is for you.... DIY No Sew Spiderman suit.

What do you mean no sew?

You can put these costumes together using a hot glue gun rather than sewing machine.  Simply glue where patterns say to stitch.  If you chose to use felt and glue then you cannot machine wash the costume - they become hand wash only.  If you use cotton and thread then the costumes may be thrown in the washing machine.

You will need the following:

1m red felt or thick cotton

1/4m of blue felt or thick cotton

1/4m of black felt or thick cotton

Black permanent marker

Glue gun

Glue sticks

1/2m thin elastic

Stapler

Scissor
